Laymen’s / Men’s Ministry

The Union Missionary Baptist Church (UMBC) Men’s Ministry is composed of all the male members of the UMBC congregation. The Men’s Ministry is responsible for setting an example for men and young men in the areas of spiritual conduct, character, Bible Study and leadership roles held within the church. The District and State Laymen programs are also supported by our local Men’s Ministry.

The Men’s Ministry plans events and activities that involve all the men of the church and the entire congregation while also participating with other ministries within the church body. This ministry plans the annual Men’s Day programs which includes scheduling Male Chorus rehearsals, organizing outings, activities, and events.

The Men’s Ministry also works with the Pastor to coordinate activities and events which focus on fellowship and the spiritual growth of all males who attend Union Missionary Baptist Church.
